#CallToPraySOS Campaign

We’ve launched our #CallToPraySOS campaign with several articles calling for prayer for a spiritual awakening and new social media posts. Join us by sharing the hashtag #CallToPraySOS.

What does SOS mean? SOS is an internationally known distress signal, a call for help. In this case, Save Our Souls Lord!

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land

– 2 Chronicles 7:14

The nations of the world and society, in general, are in a dangerous predicament. We have gone away from God, disrespected Him and disregarded His laws whereby society could best live. Believers should inspire others to follow the narrow path of life and point them to the Saviour, Jesus Christ. ‘Those who sow the wind will reap the whirlwind’ (Hosea 8:7). The Church needs to be revived; revival, a spiritual awakening and individual members of society need to forsake sin and submit to Jesus Christ. There is a Heaven to embrace and a Hell to shun.

Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the Heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us.

– Psalm 123:1-2

As a nation, if we returned to God then not only would our lives be better, but our communities could be transformed and society as a whole. If we want society to change then believers must live the Christian life of purity, holiness, truthfulness and have integrity. We are called to be Christ-like, to make disciples and to stand in the gap on behalf of the land and its citizens. Join us by sharing #CallToPraySOS

O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do it for Your name’s sake; for our backslidings are many, we have sinned against You.

– Jeremiah 14:7

Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord and do not give Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ”

– Joel 2:17
